Foods delicious but very poor service

Food was good but waitress kept forgetting to get my coffee. Everyone at my table was ready for refill before I got my first cup. I will definitely go again as its possible she was just having a bad day.

I got the cob salad and it was not impressive. Too much whole pieces of bacon and flavorless chicken. The dressing also came in a package and that never makes me happy. Boyfriend got the burrito and he felt he could have gotten the same quality for cheaper at a fast food place. Calamari was good, but sauce should have been on the side.

Sarah silvers was our waitress...super duper cool and professional. All the staff was attentive and food was on point. Totally going back for the bfast nachos recommended..

It was very good. Priced reasonably, great service. Had the Pumbaa sandwich and it was excellent

Amazing food, service and atmosphere! You have to try the Freshly Squeezed OJ and the Avocado Eggrolls. The cod sandwich was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Efficient and speedy customer service, very friendly. The food is fresh and excellent and the waitresses are very attendant. The scenic location is great, even in winter. You have to try this place!

The staff was amazing. I have an issue with masks. Not going to get into it. They were 100% accommodating. No questions asked. The food was unbelievable. We had breakfast there. Their homemade corn beef hash is fabulous. The staff attended to all our needs with Precision. Make sure you come here and tip well. It’s so worth it. The menu is reasonably priced. Thank you for everything.

Amazing breakfast nachos!!! Staff super friendly!

Nice staff. Poor food is putting it mildly. Eggs were lukewarm, American fries and hash browns were old ,cold and mush, no fry or crisp to them. Sausages were also barely warm and tasted like a reheat from at least hours ago. Toast was buried in butter.Seating cushions from outdoor seating were piled on top of tables blocking what was a nice view of the bay however you could not tell it while seated. Setup of the entrance makes it impossible to enter if someone is at register and maintain distance at all.Probably not risking a return.

A sunny, breezy morning. Sitting on the deck, shaded by a blue umbrella watching boats on the bay. Cinnamon French Toast dipped in vanilla sauce! A superb server named Sarah! Coffee and fresh squeezed OJ... ...Can there possibly be a better way to start the day?!We are nearing the end of a 5 day vacation in Tawas City/East Tawas. Each day has been started this way at Augie's. We WILL return. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!Sarah has been one of the stars!We hope she will be here when we return some time down the road.Thank you Augie's!!

Best breakfast ever! Spinach & feta omelette, with American fries & sliced tomatoes great service, love new remodel!! Highly recommend!!

Excellent food and service 👌 they honestly have the best burgers and fries. Super cheap and extremely fast service. Highly recommend! My family and I will definitely be returning.

Fish and chips were good. The Wisconsin twinkies (homemade cheese sticks) were over cooked, so all the cheese had melted out leaving pretty much empty shells. Service sucked. Few people,, but had to keep asking for stuff. Best part was the cheesecake factory cheesecake.

I came here with my husband a few weeks ago and this is Definitely a breath taking place if you've never been to Oscoda..the view while eating is the best one I've seen in a long time. The food was great. The waitress we had was in a very bad mood & you could definitely tell it wasn't her day! But I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good Coney on the water.

Great service an the scenery is beautiful by Lake Huron. The food was also very delicious. The cod fish I had tasted great.

We came in for brunch during the 4th of July Holiday week. Staff was friendly and all were complying with recommended and required safety protocols. We were seated fast and chose to sit outside for the best view on the Great Lakes. Order was put in fast and food came out quick. The food was delicious! 10/10 would recommend! Also you have to try their fresh orange juice. We will be back!

Family friendly restaurant. They have good food, very nice staff, and a wonderful view of the bay. I enjoyed my time having dinner there and will definitely be coming back!

We ate at Angie's on our lunch hour yesterday. I will definitely be back! Wonderful fast service, clean, and really delicious food! I absolutely recommend this restaurant for all the locals and the people passing through. Stop in and say, "Hi" to Jolene and Riley. They will give you great service!

Everything was delicious. Fish was done to perfection. Sitting out on the deck was a treat. Wait staff was pleasant and professional. This was a really nice dining experience. The only thing that would have been nice would have been some nice background music.🌟 PS Dessert was out of this world!

Great price on the quarter pounder.Get the salad to substitute instead of fries. It is a great salad. Outside or inside? Definitely outside. The view is beautiful.Happy with my experience. Even if I could tell the beef patties aren't the freshest there is, I'm thankful for good portion size and price. Also good, kind service.

We stopped in today while they were packed and at capacity. We were offered a comfortable seat outside along the lake shore and a coffee while we waited. We had the fresh squeezed orange juice and it was delicious. We also had the French dip and 'The Pumba' with homemade chips. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S The service was great, very friendly and we will definitely be back!

Food came out ridiculous fast. Great breakfast and a cute dining room. I want to go back and eat here every time I'm in the area. Staff were attentive and prompt. Would recommend for a hearty meal.

Food was just ok, took a very long time to get our food while other tables sat after us and ate before us. But it was during C-19, so I will go back and give them another shot and will reassess my rating then.

2018(previous owners) We went for a late breakfast. They were very welcoming. Beautiful view of Tawas Bay from the deck. Loved the cute tables outside with umbrellas and the beach decorations. Outside tables can accommodate up to 8 people. Food was pretty good ... just breakfast. It's hard to mess up. We had biscuits and gravy (country gravy, wasn't sausage gravy) with 2 eggs over easy. Also had the Cinnamon-Vanilla dipped French toast. Good stuff. Service was very good and friendly. Prices were reasonable. I posted pics of this year's menu options. I recommend visiting

Not a good experience eggs over cooked, toast drenched in butter, American fries under cooked and greasy. Never got asked for a coffee refill but got one to go and had to remind them about it.

One of the most beautiful spots to eat on our Great Lakes Shoreline and it just keeps getting better and better with the new ownership. My husband and I sat on the back deck and both had a salad, but have had their burgers, breakfast dishes and more. Our waitress shared how much she enjoys working there and it showed with the service provided.

This is my favorite restaurant in Tawas but the hours say it’s open online but store is closed with cars there? I’m going to give up if I come back for a 3rd time when hours say open but doors are locked

Augie's is an ideal little place right on the bay. Sit outside. You can't beat the view. The servers are all very nice, and the food is delicious. Their vanilla bean pancakes are amazing, as are the breakfast nachos. They didn't skimp on the feta in my spinach feta omelet.

Food was good. Had the cod. Coleslaw was great. There was an ongoing rift between the waitresses. It put a damper on an otherwise good lunch.

Far and away, a beautiful view of the lake is a highlight of this cozy establishment. I've only stopped by once. But my wife and her family have visited Tawas City several times over the years. They are fans of fish and chips and Augie's offers delicious food in this category. I'm more of a breakfast guy myself. I enjoyed their options here. But was not blown away (which would have bumped things to a 4-star review). I am definitely open to upgrading my rating upon future visits. This place is worth a try.

Good friendly service. Went for breakfast had blueberry pancakes & bacon very good. Nice that the new owners have surprised up the inside. Will go back again.

Great food, friendly staff and atmosphere, good prices. We'll definitely be back. A lot of choices from breakfast to burgers to fresh caught walleye from Lake Huron. They even have a bit of Mexican dishes. Again... Great place, keep up the good work guys!

Food was ok... but outside dining needed to be cleaned better. Trash on deck and grass area. Need to bus tables faster. Table outside stayed dirty the whole time we was there

We had a great visit this weekend on our way through town. Our family had chicken fingers, a gourmet grilled cheese with homemade chips, a French dip and fried cod with a salad and yummy mashed potatoes. The pre-meal bread was yummy and we loved the small touches like cinnamon butter, lemons for waters and sand buckets on the tables with extras. A great place to enjoy a tasty meal and great service. Credit cards are accepted but expect a 3% service charge. A fair trade for the convenience of not carrying cash.

We have been going here for years! The new owners have done great things with the business, the menu and the atmosphere! Favorite place to eat breakfast in Tawas!!

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served simultaneously throughout the day! The food is really delicious. Service is amazing. Would definitely come back again.

Went to eat this past weekend. The perch came pan fried but so greasy it looked wet. We sent it back and got deep fried, much better. The baked potato was old and Luke warm. Our bread came during our meal instead of before. The salad dressing was packaged like you get at a salad bar to go. It was sad because we had eaten here once before and it was better. Not sure why maybe end of season slack.,

The food was better than most of the food I've tried in the area. However, I ordered a Southwestern salad with fire roasted corn and cilantro. It had corn but it wasn't fire roasted and there was no cilantro.

New owner is wonderful. Breakfast was awesome and the location is beautiful.
